Ready to learn American Mahjong? This three-lesson, small group series is the best way to build your skills and confidence from the ground up. You'll progress from learning the basics to playing complete games, developing strategy, and feeling ready to join a mahjong table on your own. Lessons will have no more than eight participants. Your package includes three 2.5 hour lessons: Mahjong 101: Learn the Basics Get hands-on with the tiles as you learn tile recognition, game setup, how to read the National Mah Jongg League card, the fundamentals of gameplay, and mahjong etiquette. Your current-year NMJL card is included with this lesson. Mahjong 102: Put It All Together Build on what you've learned as you begin playing more complete games. You'll strengthen your understanding of the rules, gameplay flow, and how to make decisions as the game unfolds. Mahjong 103: Build Confidence & Strategy Take your game to the next level! You'll continue developing strategy and defensive skills while gaining experience with different game situations—including how to play when you have only two or three players.
